Make a difference!  Contribute now!
Funding and the participation of community members are always required to reach the goals the Foundation has set. Your support, whether financial or otherwise, will help the Foundation and its commitment to quality education. Your donation will assist in preparing Helix Charter High School students for the competitive world after graduation.

Yearly membership expires each June 30th.
Since we are updating these membership levels mid-year, when you sign up for membership now, before June 30, 2006, your membership will last until June 30, 2007!

    - 1 ticket to a local Helix function (i.e., Choral Events, Drama Presentations, Sporting Events).
    - Each member is entered in a drawing to win an article of Helix apparel.

If giving back to Helix is not incentive enough, we are putting together some great "goodies" for alumni who purchase above and beyond the basic package. We will be offering an Alumni Membership package (Helix Alum Net-Members) that will allow those alum viewers more access to information than just the alumni who come to see reunion and class contact information. 

The Net-Member site will be more oriented toward your specific graduating class, where all the information you need to know can be found under your specific class site.  We are working on making a package that is beneficial to purchase in order to keep in contact with classmates, while at the same time, your membership will help contribute to the needs of Helix today.

Our Net-Member site is under construction. We anticipate this site will be up within a couple months. We thank you for your patience!

Net-Membership includes:

  • Alumni Address Book  The Helix Foundation has compiled an alumni database of classmates who wish to share their information with fellow alum.  Your Net-Member access will allow you to directly contact your classmates via email.  It's an excellent way to reunite with long lost classmates, network for reunions, or just keeping in touch!

  • Official Alumni Class Page   Each graduating class from Helix will have their own page on the Net-Member site.  The page will include a Bulletin Board where you can post a hello or an announcement of some kind.  Each class page will also have a Live Chat Room to speak with fellow classmates directly from our site.  Many classmates have their own personal businesses or fun family websites.  We will post those links for you as well.  If there is a get together or reunion coming up, or if you just had one, photos, and information can be posted as well.  Any Net-Member who would like to post interesting class information on this site, is able to do so.  AND...we understand that you have friends in other graduating classes!  Net-Members can access all the class pages, and post on any of the bulletin boards or enter any of the chat rooms!

  • Updated Campus News   More than likely, so much has changed on our campus since we attended.  Now you can hear about it!  Net-Membership will give you access to Helix's Calendar of Events, The FLING newsletter articles, Campus Alumni contributions, write ups from attending Helix students, as well as final scores, quotes, and photos from the latest games, plays, and club events. 

  • Local La Mesa News   We understand that many of you no longer live in the area.  With Net-Membership, you can keep track of what our little La Mesa has been up to!  We will have a Calendar of Events, Up-to-date articles, and web resources you can visit for new and interesting information! 

  • Alumni In The News   Updated information about Helix Alum who are in our local news, or have contributed back to the Helix or City Community in various ways.

  • Guest Writers   Alumni are encouraged to send in stories that they have written.  The information could be journal entries to a trip you took, to include pictures, or contact information on the places you ventured.  The story could be about your times growing up in La Mesa, or stories you may have while attending Helix.  Whatever the case may be, we will continually update our Guest Writers' stories, and be sure to include biographies of that Highlander!

  • Alumni Clubs   Whether it be a car club, band club or booster, we will have information for you on what your fellow Highlanders are up to and what their clubs are all about!
